A gay Belgian man who says he cannot accept his sexuality has asked for the right to die using his country's radical euthanasia laws. The 39-year-old claims he is enduring extreme psychological suffering and that his sexuality has made him 'a prisoner in my own body'.

I have no desire to force other people to do anything. If they want to be unattractive, obese or parade around in clothing normally worn by some other segment of society, fine. Government should prevent people from excessively imposing their will on others. Instead, government has been coopted by those who would like to be the imposers.
Other than the NOW 25% MUSLIM (and ballooning) population in Belgium, I think the public there is very accepting of him - he should feel comfortable.
After Sharia starts to work its way in, in maybe a decade, things might be a bit different.

I wonder who sexually abused him as a child. It’s sad that he would prefer death than get the help he needs to overcome trauma and repeating a vicious cycle of abuse.
many will say they're really really happy but I don't see that with most...most struggle....
Well, it’s probably the most debilitating and obvious symptom. It’s like saying that someone has a bad back. It’s specific enough that it gives others an idea of her condition, without sounding too clinical. It may be how the doctor initially described her condition to him.
