All our families' hearts are filled with love for Dakota, Bristol, Tripp, and Sailor Grace. It's been a rewarding and interesting ride this past year - but these two sure do love an adventure! As their biggest supporters, we're stratospherically happy it's happened, amidst running a little late! Like they said, the foundation of their new life together is built with hard work and God's grace, so they can't go wrong - their future is as bright as Alaska's midnight sun.

I think they sound more like So Co names.
I am a huge fan of Sarah Palin and the rest of her family.
But I do know Dakota Meyer is going to need all the courage that got him the Medal of Honor plus the patience of Job to make a success of this marriage.
Being a member of the family of the most hated woman in the country is going to be tough. EVERY word, phrase, quarrel, tiff or even look will be scrutinized and examined to find fault or something to expose as a “family Secret”
Add in the fact that Bristol seems to be pretty high maintenance, he is probably in for an interesting ride.
You’re welcome. Ms. Godden was an outstanding novelist. On the “weird name” front, she had an older sister named Winsome, who was known as Jon.
And if Bristol Meyers has a defective round in her hunting rifle would that be a Bristol Meyers squib?

While Demon Rats are offing their babies via planned unparenthood, Republican families are filling the quiver with arrows. More babies to vote R in the future.
I wish each of them all the happiness and success in the world.

People expected some oddities from me when I announced the pregnancy... I told everyone it would be “the judge”.
She was born and given Elizabeth Catherine. People, to this day, stop the conversation to thank me for that decision.
Yes they have. I was given a first name that, while not unusual or necessarily odd, per se, was very uncommon for 1950's middle America. From about second grade through sixth, I hated it. Any name outside the norm would get you teased, but if you also happened to be homely, un-athletic or otherwise different, that name could be the straw that broke the camel's back.
My biggest problem with it now is that it is a name everyone seems to be able to remember but nobody seems to be able to forget... which made - and still makes - it tough for me to to live down my episodes of boneheaded stupidity.

Working with mostly young adults has been quite an education. The biggest difference between them and my generation (I’m 42) is that the concept of sex belonging in marriage only is absolutely foreign to them. I’m pretty sure they’ve never, ever heard of that. They seem to view sex like I used to view a kiss. A woman’s most fertile years are from age 16 to 26, before people typically get married these days.
I think that, perhaps, the reason the Palins stand out as a high profile family whose kids seem to have trouble with pregnancy before marriage is that they are so strongly pro life they don’t kill the baby to cover it up. We would probably be shocked to learn just how many women abort an unplanned baby.
Best wishes to all!
I think they pick them out of a hat.
Odd. What sort of reject questions how the newest grandchild gets here?
My only question is this:
When is the next one coming? And it had better be quick. :)
In this era of infanticide I’m very happy when any child is born.
I'm greedy. :)
“These sound like SoCal names.”
No they don’t. SoCal names are like Gomez, Catarino, Cesar, Mohammed.
Wish my parents felt the same...they think we have too many kids, but they love all of them.
