Doesn’t Ohio have a ZOO large enough to send in some animal people to see if they can get the deer to transition to another location .. or trap the deer and move them to another location where there is plenty of food and water ..??

It is my understanding that deer will not return to a spot where they have been scared.
So, she needs a neighbor with a trumpet, or a sodapop can filled with pebbles thrown close to her, something that will scare her enough to leave.

Zoos don’t touch wildlife.

That’s venison on the hoof. Best prepared Al Dente. That's where you run them down with something like a 1954 Buick. The pointy bumper bullets will leave a nice dent in them.

She just needs to self-identify as a big buck.

Where I live I see deer every day. I’ve never seen one be even slightly aggressive, even when there are little ones running around the yard, playing.

Just like humans can become mentally ill or intoxicated, I think animals can be the same. Similar to the “bath salt” bums we hear about

In college, I got a call from a girl down the block that lived in a house with several other girls. Said they were being held hostage by a crazy squirrel all day and even their pitbull was hiding from it. I laughed but decided to visit anyway.

I got there and sure enough I saw a mangy looking red squirrel running frantically between the front and back doors. I approached and expected it would be scared off but nope. The little bastard started going right for my face while hissing and biting like I never imagined a squirrel could. It followed me for several blocks while I punted it and stabbed it with a sharp stick countless times. Eventually it went down but it was still trying to kill me until the end.

If a big deer was half as aggressive and I didn’t have a gun, I’d be pretty damn scared

Her dogs may be useless against the deer, but she’s only an hours drive from me.Maybe my dogs would like to take their shot.

A buddy of mine once remarked that if squirrels were as big as deer you'd have to haul your gun into the woods on wheels.

So which is worse, getting stomped by a deer or getting stomped by all the bambiists who’d fry you for shooting it with your 12 ga.?

Modern life.

A lot of small critters can be nasty.Years ago a weasel was trying to get at a mother cat’s kittens in our back yard. The cat was doing her best but was losing ground.I came off the back porch and the little bastard took a run at me!A well place shot from my Smith and Wesson settled him dowm,I took the body to the health dept for rabies testing but they told me the head shot took so much of the brain that there wasn’t enough left to send to Columbus.

That one would have to go in the freezer on our property. You can’t grill it til you kill it. :-)
