Good grief! Doesn't the POTUS have a duty to be of good character? If someone in the SS detail witnesses high crimes and misdemeanors, would he not have the duty to report it for the sake of his oath? For the sake of the people of the U.S.?

I agree. Didn't someone once say "character means doing what's right when no one is watching"? When someone is watching, even a person of weak character should behave in a manner that at least looks good to the unwashed masses. Lady Macbeth was so contemptuous of the SS she didn't think it worth her time.

Exactly. A POTUS of good character has nothing to worry about. And yes - the evil needs to be exposed.
