“One of the horrific features of Nazi death camps was the pleasant leisurely walk to the killing chambers, to sit in ignorance among the trees and await the call to be exterminated.....”

This guy is a moron. The Jews were transported in sealed railway cars; hot, hungry, lacking sanitation. When they arrived at a death camp, they were met with whips and dogs by the SS. Families were separated on the spot. They were driven into the sheds for a supposed shower. There was no leisurely, pleasant stroll. Good grief.

Agreed, I’ve never heard of a pleasant stroll, leisurely sitting among the trees. The closest ive heard is a string quartet at the arrival point to give an initial moment of appearance that it was a normal train station.

The tree and shrub lined walkways were designed to prevent others from seeing. The ones on the path being stripped and beaten knew it was a very bad thing happening.
