Plenty of articles of Professor Klug, whom the shooter killed (a young father and excellent teacher, by all accounts) -- but no articles or photos of the shooter himself!
Praying for Prof. Klug and his family.

The shooter who allegedly killed a UCLA professor and then himself on campus Wednesday has been identified as Mainak Sarkar, ABC News has learned.
Investigators are focusing on his grades and whats being described as a “longer-standing” poor relationship between the two men.
Now why would two Cal Tec guys go over to UCLA to shoot each other?
Maniac?
Where did you get this name?
Its funny but CBS site claims he was a white male 6’
The press has clearly gone brainless
5-1 the guy was Pakistani
Is there any way that someone could “capture” this article before it disappears??
In a now-deleted blog post on his WordPress site LongDarkTunnelblog, Sarkar wrote about Professor Klug. On March 10, the shooter was scathing in his criticism of Klug saying:
William Klug, UCLA professor is not the kind of person when you think of a professor. He is a very sick person. I urge every new student coming to UCLA to stay away from this guy
My name is Mainak Sarkar. I was this guys PhD student. We had personal differences. He cleverly stole all my code and gave it another student. He made me really sick.

In the several articles I skimmed, I do not see mention of his current citizenship, so likely still Indian. Doesn't seem relevant to the whole matter. Left a suicide note. Will be interesting to hear the contents.
Gun free zones. Those are working quite well for crazed gunmen.
Never mind my question!
It does indeed seem that the media is in full coverup mode to protect the ROP.
Carry on.
Sources identify the gunman as Mainak Sarkar.
The UCLA professor who was killed today, William Klug, had a student who wrote a threatening blog post about him. This is his wiki:

#uclashooting
Says Sarkar was PhD student since 2006, which suggests great difficulty in finishing the program (4-6 yrs. is typical). Sarkar wrote a brief blog post claiming the Prof. stole his code and gave it to another student:

Bernadette makes me hot as hell. I always go for the crazy ones.
The alleged perpetrator, I believe.
I’d wager Sarkar is actually an Indian name....but I could be wrong.
