Police: Drunk driver crashes car vertically up pole

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police say a 21-year-old woman was drunk when got her car stuck up a pole in Gwinnett County Wednesday morning.
The crash happened at Old Norcross and Ingram roads around 9 a.m.
Police say Pauline Bonneau failed to navigate the curve and went up the telephone pole. The car ended up nearly vertical to the road.

She road the electrical pole steel cable up the pole. Happens all the time. Notice the cable is still intact?
I saw one where the cable all but cut a vehicle in two, before the vehicle impacted the pole killing all three occupants instantly.

I saw a lady drive a car up one of the “SAFETY” poles in front of a Wahlgreen’s!!! TOTALLY STUCK UP THE POLE!!! Had the pole not been there, the cashier would have been killed!

It looks as if she ran up the guy wire then rolled off it a bit. That has happened here a couple of times around here in the last few years and a coupld of other times when the car ran up the war then rolled off and came down to earth upside down or on somebody’s porch roof.
