Sheesh, leave it to the Brit media to make a mountain out of a molehill. Reshoots are normal, especially for a movie of this size. I read an article in the NY Post about this and it wasn’t nearly this dramatic.

According to the old stories a boat load of Bothans died getting the plans to the Rebels. I wonder if that will even make the new canon. I don’t hold out a lot of hope.

But Disney bosses are apparently so alarmed at how bad the new Star Wars spin-off movie Rogue One is that they have ordered four weeks of expensive reshoots in a bid to salvage the project. If true I am not surprised. "The Force Awakens" was nothing more than an insipid reworking of "A New Hope". That it was a financial success was not due to quality but hype and merchandising, something Disney is unequaled at.
