SJW propaganda: It’s not just for the X-Men anymore!
I work with a thirtyish white guy who seems intelligent and well read. He believes that cops are targeting black men. He believes Hillary did nothing wrong and the email saga is a Republican witch hunt. He believes the Black Lives Matter story on Treyvon and the other black kids who were up and coming super stars cut down in their prime by racism.
I hired a black man for him to work with and he was very upset because, well, black men are all bad. They work together great and get along, but he lets me know just how inferior this guy is. The paradoxical beliefs and behaviors are amazing. But I suspect he is the typical Democrat.
Glad you “borrowed” it. They haven’t had my hard earned cash for a decade and I’m not interested in reading what they’re producing.
Let Marvel, DC and Archie follow the Target business model: cater to liberals only. See how that works out. I predict within ten years the publishing divisions will be fond memories.

Almost nobody reads the comic books anymore.
They’re just properties and vehicles for movies, tv shows, video games, Halloween costumes, etc.
Lucky Bruce Wayne to have amnesia and couldn’t remember he was ever a superhero.
Comic book writers and enthusiasts tend to hate Trump and anything remotely conservative.
There was a thread a few days back about the campaign for a gay Captain America. The writer said it was letting the kids who read the comics down.
But it looks like most comic book readers nowadays are adults. Kids don't have the money.
And teens seem to be more interested in video games than in comic books. But the movie industry can't get much out of video games. The characters and plots tend to be pretty slight. So Hollywood keeps recycling old comic books as if people still cared.
Plus, I think teenaged graphic novel/animation obsessives tend to like the Japanese stuff more than what their fathers or grandfathers were reading decades back.
