I consider it a triumph of my home education program that, when he died, none of my students knew who he was. #2 son had an idea he was the president of something, and #2 daughter remembered “South Africa” from the tv news at the gym, but other than that ... blank.
Maybe it was because when Mandela was incarcerated he was considered a communist. We use to be against communists and their cousins. Now we have them in our government masquerading as democrats.

If the CIA had a hand in Mandella’s capture, I say good. Mandella was the head of the terror wing of the communist ANC and had regular contact with the USSR. He was convicted for about 150 terrorist bombings in South Africa and was convicted. The white SA government placed him in luxury prison confinement and offered to release him if he would stop the bombings.
His wife Winnie continued in his steps and used “necklacing”, placing a tire over an opponents head, puoring on gasoline and lighting it on fire.
After years he had a change of heart and agreed he would stop the bombing.
I think he never got the justice of necklacing and neither did his wife. That the evil racist 0bama admires him I can understand. But 0bama and the Mandellas should be ridiculed and the living scorned.

I did not put the barf in the title. I probably should have. That this Mandela tyrant died a natural death is a disgrace. And that 0bama admires him does not surprise me. Both are scum.
Did anyone notice that with the fall of the Soviet Union, decades-long civil wars and conflicts in places as diverse as Angola, Mozambique, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, the division of Yemen all ended? Didn’t that have anything to do with the collapse of the Soviet Union, did it?
