Microsoft is turning to a ‘rented’ OS plan: you get what they rent, including the maintenance.
Reminds me of the old Capitol Record Club deal though... you get what they offer, not always what you want.

It’s only a matter of time before you get a MONTHLY BILL for using MS products!
And probably not vary long.
That’s why I ALWAYS segregate my data from the OS. I can restore the OS any time I want.
