Exactly what is the “wrong way to unwind” as far as TP is concerned?
Over the top or underneath?

Over the top was the outhouse way. People (like my parents) who grew up with that "technology" changed to the down-the-back style when the john moved indoors, a way of turning a page on that former way of life.
