Back in the 70’s one of the local guys got set up as a Belarus dealer, sold a few too.I still see some of them around working.I collect old 2 cylinder John Deeres as one of my hobbies.I doubt the Russkies ever made anything as tough as a 730 diesel.

Would that be the "Poppin' John"?

My uncle had one way back when...run a very successful little truck farm with it for nearly 50 years.

He inherited it from his father, in 1939.

It's sitting on blocks in the workshop of his brother's son, hasn't run since '94, but it was parked running.

He says he's had offers of up to $10,000.00 for it.

I don't think there's enough money for him to let it go...he worked with my uncle for quite a few years on it, too.
