Made in Russia.
Maybe good, maybe bad.
I bought a Belarus tractor 20-some years ago for $500.00, intending it to be my throw-away for all the crap I wouldn't put my brand-new Kubota through.
It's still running, my Kubota has been in and out of the shop.
I have a total investment of approximately $850.00 on the Belarus...the Kubota has cost me over $5000.00 just to keep it running these many years.
And I abuse the absolute hell out of the Belarus, cutting rocks and stumps, lugging the engine down to near stall (but it will not) and only changing the oil twice in the time I've had it.
It is an ugly, crude, out-dated ungainly piece of poorly engineered example of Russian excellence...so bad that it will just not die.
I'm almost beginning to like it...at which point it will be better maintained, better treated...and will promptly quit on me.
