Trayvon Martin has often been in the thoughts of playwright and activist Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj in the four years since the 17-year-old unarmed black boy was shot and killed after a confrontation with neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman.
He has wondered about Martin's dreams, his life and the moments before he died.

Looking back on this I can honestly say what I said at first. This is the biggest non story of my life. If GZ wasn’t armed, the real story would be he was a victim of the knockout game and maybe still alive. Article would be a couple of paragraphs in the local paper then forgotten, most likely omitting the knockout game part of the story. It was a simple case of self defense no matter how the left wants it to appear.
How about what he'd been doing with his life before the shooting? I'm sure Trayvon was just doing his part redistributing people's wealth ...
“playwright and activist Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj “
Uh,huh !
A future Tennessee Williams. :-)
.
Ah, yes, the young lady that “don’t do cursive.”
That "knockout game" theory comes from Jack Cashill, who hasn't exactly been the most reliable source for truth. It doesn't fit well with the circumstances of the shooting and Cashill had to stretch things to come up with his theory.
Oh, a “confrontation” we’re calling it now? I thought we had other words for when someone who sucker-punches someone, throws them to the ground, beats the crap out of them MMA style and cracks their head on the edge of a concrete sidewalk till they are afraid for their lives.
Yes, but remember Rachel Jenteal's interview with Piers Morgan. She said Trayvon wasn't going to kill Zimmerman; he was "just gonna do a little whoopass on him". The implication was that if GZ had merely submitted to Trayvon's "whoopass", everything would have been fine. So, granted, it may not have been "knockout game", but it was "whoopass time".
That interview did not get a lot of play, and Jenteal pretty much was never seen after that.
Hot diggity dog. I can’t wait to see it. /s
The "knockout game" depends on an audience or at least one observer. It's not something people do when they're out alone at night in a suburban neighborhood. Cashill's theory was that Jeantel was Martin's audience or observer or co-player, but that didn't make much sense.
Maybe lean, maybe just something leaner than Rachael Jaental.
The audience was Jenteal. She was on the phone with Trayvon during the incident. They were talking about GZ following Trayvon, and that GZ ‘might be gay’. Jenteal joked ‘he goan rape you, Trayvon ‘. So, Trayvon may have been inspired to show off for Jenteal, and he may have been a ‘homophobe’ attacking a perceived gay man.
Whatever happened, it wasn’t the knockout game.
Projectile vomiting here....
His “dream”???
His dream was to write in cursive to the parole board....
George shot the Trayvon, but he did not shoot the deputy.
You're hired :-)
Come and listen to a story bout a thug shot dead.
