An estimate of $4.25 Million? Wow.
The right crowd and no crowding, as we used to say in sports car circles....
That should go for serious cash. Love the 289 Cobra. Much better balanced than the 427, and plenty fast enough.
At RM auctions in 2014 in Monterey I saw a GTO 40 fetch SEVEN million..!

It should be on Ebay. I'll put in a feeler automatic bid a couple of times then wait till the last 10 seconds and drop a final bid.

Wow, I just saw two of them yesterday, no kidding. Local car dealer owns them, houses them in a museum here, open one day a year.
There were a couple of others outside, they were doing a charity car show.
That was an overwhelming experience, what a lot of cool old iron.

When Carrol Shelby died Tom had a PO for 50 of these cars. You take him a Brand New Mustang and $100K and he will build you one, NASCAR Certified. He makes some pretty awesome cars and horsepower that you would not believe.

I have a 66 GT. Nothing unique like these high dollar cars. But it is a great looking car.
I keep thinking someone will offer me big bucks for it. I don’t expect $6 mil...
Pebble Beach Concours dElegance
...is marvelous.
I almost hit a Ferrari out there once. Odd, tinny little horn saved me.
