I'm reading Ben Rich's memoir Skunkworks, about the venerable Lockheed division he (Rich) took over from Kelly Johnson when the latter reached the age of mandatory retirement. Mr. Rich, who was the person within Lockheed who first saw the potential of stealth technology to be a decisive factor in the conduct of the cold war, has nothing but nice things to say about Mr. Perry, as might be expected.

You are far from alone in that sentiment. Still, being the benevolent fellow that I am, I would prefer to see it simply returned to swampland, with federally employed residents required to remain there through the fever season without benefit of air conditioning or window screens.
I still remember when people cheered when DC was destroyed during the Movie Independence Day.
