Hope you enjoy. Suspicious Minds
music *ping*
He died so young. If it were not for the drugs and other excesses he might still be around. What a waste of talent.
Bouncy bouncy Beyonce and others of her bump and grind genre of dancers/singers cannot match and will never match the intensity and excitement of an Elvis performance, even one censored on Ed Sullivan.
Poor Elvis did not heed Admiral Ackbar’s warning.
I like a lot of the mature Elvis. Suspicious Minds is great, even if it sounds too much like the Righteous Brothers.
T-R-O-U-B-L-E was one of his last to hit the charts. Catchy, upbeat ditty.
Kentucky Rain sounds great on first listen, but if you think too hard on the lyrics, it becomes very silly. Basically, Elvis’ wife disappears in the middle of the night, from their shack/trailer in the middle of Kentucky with no usable vehicle whatsoever (if she took the car, he’d never catch up to her on foot) and not so much as a phone to call a pal to drive him around. It is impossible to imagine the song without picturing Elvis with squishy shoes going around in the mud in a white jump suit.
On the other hand, take “Kentucky Rain”, and then listen to Del Shannon’s country flavored tune “Stranger on the Run”, and then a story unfolds, probably in Paduchah, Kentucky.
Who will win the girl? Elvis? Del? Listen to them in sequence and find out. It would make a great TV movie.
Suspicious Minds is my favorite out of all Elvis Songs, followed by Promised Land
“shove it up your nose” at 0:56 ???
Your guess is as good as mine. Had to be an inside joke of some kind.
300,000 Louisvillians disagree with you, sir.
Kentucky Rain cannot be topped in these parts!!
I confuse Suspicious Minds with Suspicion. Elvis recorded Suspicion, which went nowhere. Then a high school classmate of mine, Terry Stafford, recorded it, and went to the top of the charts.
What a waste of God's gifts.
I’m not an Elvis fan, but I do like this song.
So sings one of the biggest fornicators ever!

Judge not...
Seemed so fit, yet 8 years later he was a shell of himself and dead.
‘judge not’ is a refutation for hypocrisy, not judging sins and sinners.
