Police in Ohio along with The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children are hoping the public can help solve a 35-year-old mystery.
"Jane Doe" was found deceased in Miami County, Ohio in April of 1981. New testing was just completed on the pollen that was found on the clothing she was wearing and it indicates that she may have been from West Virginia.

Hmmm that is weird, I am in Western MA @ the moment and local TV news here says she could have been from Western Ma from the pollen and was asking for local help, or was their wax in my ears.....
These cases are always so heartbreaking.
And on WTNH’ CT’s web site, they say she could be from Connecticut
Perhaps the pollen is found on the Eastern seaboard or is this a law enforcement tactic to generate leads. Either way, let us hope with the ability to recreate her image that those in law enforcement and their hard work and those that loved this child get their answers. Prayers up to those working hard on this....
Amen!
She was pretty. Glad they are going through cold cases.
Me too, perhaps the slight chin asymmetry will trigger someone’s memory.
OTOH, one cannot be sure if the family would be happier knowing, or hoping?
