I lived in Juneau for 25 years and you can walk right up to the door and knock at the Governor’s mansion and someone will answer. It’s likely going to be the cook, but hey.

If you like the outdoors and don’t mind a little rain, it’s a great place to live. Beautiful setting, abundant wildlife, good people who say hello to strangers. I think I’ll move back.
