Naw. Article said he had a rear plate and didn't get a ticket - I'm assuming because it was registered in a state where you don't need a front plate. Wish mine was.
I don't think anyone could ever market the thing, though - it would have to pass crash standards and there's this, ah, splinter thingy... :-(

Well done to both of them! There was a picture floating around of both the trooper and the owner standing by the car and smiling.
Perhaps its built as a NASCAR project with a concealed roll cage and Kevlar sheeting hidden within the decorative panels?
