The iconic Brooklyn Navy Yard, once home to the country’s largest naval fleet of pigeon carriers.

Who knew?

Classic. Scary. Good stuff.

Alfred Hitchcock's"The Birds" in 1 minute, and 40 seconds.

This newer birdie enterprise in NYC ....what could possibly go wrong?

Thirty years back, a coworker was in a nasty crash, and another coworker and I went to visit him in the hospital. He parked under a tree as it was raining. While we were inside, a large flock of birds landed it the tree, and when we came out, his red Dodge truck was decorated just like that Caddy. Yuck!

That’s kinda like what we do with ducks. We freeze the breasts until we have enough harvested for a nice big meal.

Ummm...

“Looking up” when there is a flock of pigeons over head is NOT a winning strategy.

The story about rooftop pigeon men says that many of the men admit, that if weren't for their hobby, they would be in jail or dead from street crime.
