I will say that, as a breeder, when someone is trying to breed for consistency, they are going to probably try to linebreed because they are working towards a certain goal - the epitome of the perfect dog, in their eyes. Linebreeding is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if they are doubling up on a particularly good dog. Most breeds were created through linebreeding and inbreeding, and of course you can have issues pop up, but even when you outcross from one line to another, that can unfortunately happen as well. With Shilohs, they unfortunately have had many issues, but that’s probably another post for another time, lol.
Shilohs do look very nice IMO, but I have not been around them or their owners to see how they are in their temperament or possible problem sin their older age.
