Good grief!
I wanna hit lotto so I can go to Japan...
We used to go skating at the rink when I was young. Charles came in several times when we were there and we got his autograph. I remember him as a very personable, approachable and quiet guy; kind of like the other famous comic artist which lived in in my adopted of Chofu, Tokyo until last year, Miyuki Shigeru. He was also a very nice and approachable guy and enjoyed meeting and talking to the kids.
“Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa”
Great place to visit.
I used to go ice skating at the rink Charles Schultz built for his wife. I have a first edition of “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” signed to me personally by Charles Schultz, which I won in a pumpkin-growing contest. I’ve had that book for 45 years.
We visited the museum in Santa Rosa, and the docent said that we should send a picture of the book with the inscription, because they like to keep track of where all the artifacts are.
In Naka-Meguro in Tokyo they have a Snoopy restaurant (which I believe is licensed).
That thing is allllllways jam-packed!
They’re making sooooo much money.
The first floor features a goods store where u can buy Snoopy mugs, cookies, T-shirts, towels and very many other things.
It’s really amazing.
Not the same, but...
