WLS just announced that Dennis Hastert has been sentenced to 2 years of supervised release and no contact with those he had molested.
I’m not sure why the judge bothered with the no contact order, they’re too old for him now anyway.
Does he lose anything? GUbamint pension stays intact, has to register as sex offender... Or is he just gonna walk??

I’m not sure the sentence even qualifies as a slap on the wrist for the child rapist. I guess there are benefits to being part of the ruling class.
What a joke. I noticed that Tom DeLay managed to write a letter to the judge recommending leniency while at the same time denouncing Trump. Yes. The GOP is that effed up.

THis is just for the banking fraud. The statute has expired on the child fondling. He is getting sued by the victum for the remaining blackmail payments though.

You are looking at a case in point about exactly why the GOPe is effed up. Now that the democrat party has gone fascist, any blackmailable event will quash any opposition.
Mitch McConnell is a prime example. He has some questionable event when he was in the Army, about which there is no record. Could that be why he has behaved so passively?
But the statute of limitations is expired for the past sexual crimes. He’s only charged with trying to skirt around the financial laws re: withdrawing his own cash and lying to the investigators.
