One more Beatles Song for the weekend. This one is played by Laurence Juber who was the lead guitarist for Wings and is now considered one of the leading acoustic guitar players in the world. He always makes it look so easy and seamless. He rarely looks at the fretboard so he just knows where his fingers are by mere feel and visualization.
Enjoy. Link to Tab below.
Otherwise, just enjoy.
This time Laurence Juber plays "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". Tab is at Post 1.
Enjoy!
Thank you..... stay safe !
If you keep a ping list, please add me. Just re-starting playing after many years off.

I am trying to post some tabs on some of these songs. Some of them are just not capable of being played by mere humans. I have been featuring some young ladies that are just amazing guitar players and some of the most talented acoustic guitar players on the planet. I think a few of them are actually from another planet as no human being can possibly do what they do with 10 fingers and 6 strings.
What I have found, however, is that a lot of these amazing pieces can be played if you spend a lot of time learning them measure by measure and woodshedding the song until you learn it. That is what I do. The only problem I have is that if I don’t play the song intermittently - at my age - I have to relearn it later. :-(
Thanks! I celebrated my birthday by trading in one of my electrics for a Martin acoustic.
I’m having fun starting from scratch. My fingers forgot 80% of what they once knew. I’m embracing the suck so I can move ahead.

You will be shocked at how easy they are on your fingers. I bought 20 of them when when they went on sale for $2 each.
Right now they are $5 each, but if you haven't played in a while they are the only way to go.
Very Flexible. Perfect for a Martin if you don't have thick callouses and strong fingers for bar chords.
This is a “fingerstyle acoustic” guitar thread.
If you have them playing it “fingerstyle” on an “acoustic guitar”, then that would be great.
OK, Tom Petty has an acoustic guitar there, but he is strumming it using a flat pick.
Thank you very much. I just picked up three sets and I’ll restring my new girl.
[she’s a dreadnaught cutaway with electronics built in].
I’ve been gradually building up time as my fingers can handle it, so I appreciate the tip!
