After this cute pup named Bobby sadly lost its mother to a car accident, the Michigan Humane Society was able to pair up the dog with a new family of cats.
Bobby was just two days old when its mother was fatally struck by a vehicle, so it was important that the puppy found a new family as quickly as possible.
The society just so happened to have a mother cat that was still nursing, so they decided to give it a shot and see if the cat would foster the puppy.
Much to their surprise, the plan worked, and the puppy is now growing up around a litter of kittens at its foster home until it's old enough for adoption.
Not only does the mother cat provide Bobby with milk, but the kittens provide good socialization for the puppy.
Now, we're not sure if Bobby knows it's not like its other friends, but we're pretty sure it'll find out eventually.

Wait till it tries to climb a tree...........LOL!
I don’t own cats, and my dog is a good mouser. Not kidding.

Does than make the puppy an honorary Viking Kitty?
Adorable and moving. Thanks.
“Son, I adopted you when you were little. But you’re not a cat, you’re actually a dog.”
“Mom! I’m a cat! Just like my siblings.”
“No, son, you’re a dog and nothing can change that. We all love you just the same, but you’re a dog.”
“Mom, I am whatever I am comfortable thinking myself to be! I’m a cat!”
“Son, your siblings don’t want you in the litter box with them. It makes them very uncomfortable.”
See where this is headed....?
How sweet is that?!? Especially the last shot, when Mom has her “arm” around the puppy.
Yep, LOL!
“Is he going to grow up to be a trans kitty?”
I guess he will “identify with being a cat” and will want to use any litter box he chooses. :)
:D
