New source since some objected to the Tea Party source.
Ya don’t get more Establishment than hiring Washington Lobbyist for your campaign.
The Special Interest Cancer grows on the Trump campaign.
Keep tryin
Lobbyists, abortion issue, okay with transgenders - what party is he running in?
I guess the proof will be in the pudding, as they say...
C’mon, guys. It’s called FIGHTING FIRE WITH FIRE. Trump is simply lighting BACKFIRES!
Why post this whole thing? Are you really 2ndDivisionVet?
This article which I read at Politico, is a whole bunch of NOTHING. Where’s the beef? Nothing here.
If these guys are lobbyists when they are not working on campaigns, so what? Like someone else correctly pointed out, Trump hired THEM, they didn’t buy Trump.
I thought all you Trump haters left or got zotted.
Cruz supporters criticized Trump for not having a ground game. He went out and bought a ground game, and now they’re criticizing him for that.
It’s almost like the Cruz supporters don’t like ANYTHING that Trump does.
So is this supposed to make us not like Trump?
Fail.
I’m thrilled he has the best in the business, and that dirty rat-trickster Roger Stone is on the team too.
Your point?
If he trusts Manafort than Manafort has to bring in who he also trusts.
Let’s face it, Trump has thevsharp knives out everywhere looking to jab him. As he goes on it’s also like a partial game of Who Do You Trust?
Unfortunately, given Cruz, Kasich & GOPe are playing nasty political games, Trump has no choice but to combat their crap.
When FDR appointed Joe Kennedy to the Securities and Exchange Commission, it was applauded. Where the bodies are buried and all.
Nice source that Washington Post, I mean, Politico. They can’t take down Trump so now they go after the guy that’s going to win him the nomination on the floor.
Good luck with that.
Good to see that Trump is hiring the best. The firm, Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly (now Prime Policy Group) is one of the best on K Street. Members of that team have vast experience advising successful Presidential campaigns of Ronald Reagan, George HW Bush and Bill Clinton (unfortunately, they weren’t able to overcome the shortcomings of the McCain or Romney campaigns, but I blame that on the shortfalls of the candidates, not the lobbying firm). They also have great experience with foreign relations, having worked to lobby for Mohamed Siad Barre of Somalia, Ferdinand Marcos of the Philippines, Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire, and Jonas Savimbi of Angola, as well as its successor supporting the Iraqi National Congress. I am certain that this experience will help them advise Mr. Trump on who he needs to bring on board for his foreign policy team.
That Mr. Trump has two of the partners of that firm (Paul J. Manafort and Roger J. Stone) on his team is impressive for being able to negotiate within the Beltway. And that the third member of the original team, Charles Black, is an advisor to the Kasich team shows how good the team was.
I think this really bodes well for the Trump campagin. Hopefully he will be able to bring Mr. Black onboard after Kasich folds. Well done, sir!!!
