He’s done. The only honorable thing left for him to do is drop out.

But he won’t. Because he’s a putz.

You naysayers don't understand that Ted's ego is more important than control of the Supreme Court.

Even with Trumpster’s big win to tonight In NY he will still be short Delegates at the Convention.. After The Scolding Trump gave Chairman Reince Priebus I’m sure he will bend over backwards for Trump!!!!

Well, it's good to know that the egos of Rinse & the Tedstablishment are MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than the presidency and future control of the Supreme Court.

It's beginning to loook like the Tedstablishment is merely a wing of the Democrat Party, or the Uniparty, as I like to call it...

if you look at some counts of hillary and trump from primary results they are not far off, like long Island.

I know the general is different, but some Bernie folks may stay home. Trump may get good part of Independents who (largely) did not vote yesterday.

Even if Cruz fanatics don’t vote Trump he has a good shot.

Same in some other N Englad usual Dem states.

never say never.

“he continues to make *victory* speeches, after each loss, “

just shows how delusional and self focused he is.

Irony is how many millions of dollars have been wasted by Cruz, Kasich, Bush, and Rubio with destructive rhetoric aimed at Donald Trump; literally, hundreds of millions of dollars.

I didn't comment on this before, but I should have. That money was not wasted. All that money, and the systematic effort by establishment figures, including the media, to stop Trump, did a huge amount of good. Between the biased debate questions, the biased attacks by other candidates, and the biased reporting, no one in the country had any doubt that the establishment sensible people despises was opposed to Trump. He would have had to work much harder without so much help from MSNBC, CNN, NYT, JJeb, Rubio, Christie, and even Fox News.

Certainly it's ironic that the establishment effort had the opposite effect from what was intended, but It's not a waste. Having that many establishment dollars spent, finally, in a good cause has entertained me for most of the past year and helped our side.

My wife is from Philadelphia (Archbishop Ryan High School). I’ll have to tell her she’s a moron.

I'm quite sure she's brilliant. But the average IQ in West Philly and North Philly will bring the overall average down considerably.

Sad that there are only 22 Americans left to be reminded of what made the country what it used to be

Our campaigns don’t find our fuel in bundlers and SPECIAL INTERESTS, but rather directly from the people...

Special interests, really? Is this satire?

If Cruz had any principles at all, he would drop out of the race. Mr. Penguin needs to get lost, and this “speech” is so canned it stinks.

I believe you've identified Ted's next logical career move, playing The Penguin in the Batman series of movies. He should be good for at least the next three or four.

“what made the country what it used to be”

Trump just reminded millions of it.
Like: Personal responsibility, a good work ethic, and very important is ability to work with people (nationally and managing his core people) to get things done (NOT just talk a good game like Cruz), problem solvers not victim mentality or staying stuck in our problems.
Can you imagine people here in 1600-1700 if they were so enabled as millions of Americans are brought up or have become due to set backs and lack of hope and perseverance?

Cruz has some good qualities, but is very much a follower not a leader, from what I have gathered in this last year of learning of him. Just as obama is a follower of what he’s told or others ideas, not a real leader/problem solver.

I am one of the many FReepers here whom are PRO-TRUMP and PRO-CRUZ for the election.
My sole concern is that Hillary Clinton is not elected to become POTUS this autumn.

Cruz is a weak candidate. His unfavorable are just as bad. The difference is that trump won the south and northeast. Cruz won 4 states where voters had a say. Cruz has lost every purple state we need including Florida, Ohio, Virginia and others.

It’s time to get professional help. I’m not kidding. Do it before you end up like whatshername from Cincinnati.

Sounds like last-straw desperation.

Cruz is officially mathematically challenged in delegates. After next Tuesday, he will be even worse off.

But, hey, why wouldn’t a senator be good at speechifying? They are, after all, professional bloviaters.
