Went to their show tonight and was underwhelmed. Their encore they came out infront of the gay flag and educated us on how bigoted our political leaders are. Really took a bad show and made it worse. How come everyone in the country or the world knows more about this than we do?

You can always tell when ticket sales are slow, entertainers always go political.
Somebody should petition the Governor to look at the tax breaks the entertainment industry gets.

But when they go.political why do they always go.liberal??? Has anyone in entertainment making political statements gone conservative???

How much were you paid to attend the performance? Female attention or appreciation is valid currency in such matters.

I will never understand as long as I live how Simon Le Bon has made a career out of his chalkboard screeching voice.

I saw Guns N Roses here t the impromptu show in L.A. and they rocked the house. They didnt make any stupid speeches. That’s how it should be.

No. Entertainers live in a cocoon. They only hear themselves and congratulate each other

In Pop/Rock or heavy metal we have Ted Nugent, Lynyrd Skynrd, Metallica, The Ramones, Alice Cooper, Prince (yes, Prince), Gloria Estefan, Gene Simmons (KISS), Meat Loaf, some members of The Beach Boys, a few from Rush, and others. More than a few Country stars, etc ...

Not ALL of them, just the loud and obnoxious ones.

Gloria Estafen is really a lib. Loves Obama and wouldn’t take a stand regarding Elian Gonzales. Only asked for calm and what did Climton do?

(urope. Why do they put up with this.)
To: softwarecreator
Dave Mustaine and Tommy Emmanuel are both Christian and Dee Snider is a conservative and the legendary Charlie Daniels is in there too.
Just read Simon le Bon is agnostic. Sad, really.

a duran duran is a washed up irrelevant 80’s something band trying to be relevant again in the year 2016 by supporting tranvestites and perverts
so in other words- they aren’t much to speak of-

I forgot about Dee Snyder, thanks for reminding me. Seems like quite a few 70’s- 80’s hard rock people are, at least on some level, conservative. Probably not a coincidence. And, Charlie Daniels: was there EVER a doubt? Same thing with Ray Stevens, a REAL American!
To: max americana
I always thought they were extremely lame and annoying.
Things haven’t changed.
