American freedom is the apple of my eye,
complete with liberalism as the blet
that grows as free men become complacent.

Technically, because today is a holiday in Washington, D.C. (Emancipation Day), Tax Day is Monday, April 18.

Monday is actually tax day this year.
Not to be pedantic or anything. :-)

I was going to point that out as well.....even though I got mine filed this morning....

I will now think of this word when I look at Bernie....I get those spittle when he talks, boney weird looking finger pointing all the time, and old man ripe smell images in my head when I see him....

So the American culture is beyond blet? A lot of things in American culture are over the top - the things that offend us and those we celebrate. That includes our level of blet.

Barney Frank seemed to suffer from *blet
But first, he helped to mire us in debt
A classic left-lib
Very nasty, but glib
Socialism, he did aid and abet
*a state of softness or decay in certain fruits

Great word. Onomatopoeic as to the reaction to the condition. Yech, blech, and yuk come to mind. I especially liked WhyisaTexasgirlinPa but take umbrage at the old man ripe smell reference, though totally apropos. More on the odor of "the blet of an old goat."
