I think that since Jon Snow must serve the black for the rest of his life, and now that he died his watch is over and his oath is fulfilled. Once he is finished being dead he can go on to other things.
For a moment I got confused and wondered if he would turn into a white walker, like they all “turn” into walkers on The Walking Dead.

My son thinks that John Snow has Targaryan blood (since we never found out who his mother is). So Melisandre will save him somehow because of his royal blood.
