Yes. I like Marco Rubio. Yeah. I could, Trump told columnist Kirsten Powers about putting Rubio in his administration.
He was asked if Rubio was a potential vice president choice for him.
There are people I have in mind in terms of vice president. I just havent told anybody names.
I do like Marco. I do like [John] Kasich.
I like [Scott] Walker actually in a lot of ways. I hit him very hard.
But Ive always liked him. There are people I like, but I dont think they like me because I have hit them hard, Trump responded.

Maybe he's just saying. I figured he would not pick a former candidate.
I'd like to see Jeff Sessions, for one.

Yeah, I’d be disappointed if one of them ended up as his VP.

Rubio is ineligible so Trump won't go there.

This guy's already got plans but I like the cut of his jib:

Assuming ted doesn’t steal the nomination I think he picks Jan Brewer. He needs to shore up his cred with the ladies and he can win FLA without Rubio.

This is part of the 172 strategy... he is setting up a deal with an American born and bred.

Yes. I like Marco Rubio. Yeah. I could,
How many Cabinet meetings would a Secretary Marco attend?

trump is merely talking about making his first near-presidential decision, and he’s already losing supporters.
this is a preview of the future, and it gives you some insight into some of the trump supporters.

Out of the three, I dislike Kasich. I actually liked a lot about Rubio except I don’t trust him on immigration. I like Walker too but he wasn’t ready for primetime. Kasich is a liberal and Hillary will probably woo him for her VP pick.

I really don’t get people who like Trump, but would abandon him over a VP pick. Talk about being spoiled....

If he wants Walker (the man we SHOULD have nominated for POTUS) I bet Walker is a big enough man to be courted with some grace and courtesy on The Donald's part. Walker will enrage unions, Demonrats, pro-aborts, and just about everyone worth aggravating and bring in a boatload of votes. I would have to vote for a ticket including Walker as would many others who are skeptical of Trump.
His Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch (sp.?) may or may not prove able to continue Walker's Wisconsin miracles but the nation needs him more. He wold be a particular cross for Schmucky Chewmer to bear when as VPOTUS he would preside over the Senate. Brass gonads, real backbone. Emphasizes brilliant performance over flash.

Governor Martinez is good too.
To: Rusty0604
I dislike Kasich as well, and he's my governor. I would be disappointed in Rubio if he took the job, and I don't think Walker adds much.
If he could convince Susan Martinez, or Nikki Haley, that would be good. Sure, it's pandering, but winning is paramount, and they'd help him with his biggest demographic weakness.
To: ASA Vet
Nonsense. Rubio is quite eligible. However, given his whirling dervish act on the Gang of Eight Bill, Rubio will require a LOT of credibility rehabilitation. He coulda been a contendah.
