The Queen calls Tom Jones ‘Sir’? Not that I’m complaining - I distinctly recall my elders (female) rave and essentially go ‘ga-ga’ over the man. I don’t think anyone had a bad word to say about Mr. Jones.

A showbiz marriage that lasted 59 years??? Especially when one of the partners is a sex symbol like Tom Jones? Wow! From my view in the 30th row, this looks like a love story for the ages.

Once long ago I was with a group of friends at the Playboy Hotel on Miami Beach. We had just seen the Ike and Tina Turner review and had dinner. We were out front waiting for the valet to bring the cat around. I was sitting on the edge of a cement planter and a commotion started and I saw a pair of Marco Rubio boots walk past in a crowd. I looked up and it was Tom Jones. All I could think about was how short he was. I’m talking 5’4” or 5’5”.
