Of course, the rhetorical question of the day, what if "Shaneequa" or "Latifa" were to at this same exact location at the same exact time and ordered the same exact thing and had received a message on their cup disparaging their hair weave? The Justice Dept would launch an investigation faster than Jeff Gordon on meth. Hey, this is FL, there's plenty of Cuban owned mom-and-pop
bodegas all over the place down here that serve better coffee at more reasonable prices by good hardworking people who truly appreciate their customers. Besides, givven Starschmucks "progressive" corporate image you'd think they'd want us to BUY LOCALLY! But then agasin , business is business.

Well maybe if he has such a close family history of diabetes he should be more careful what he ingests. Star*ucks is just doing a public service here with a health warning. What the hell happened, in the America I grew up in, the Bill of Rights didn’t include the not to offended.

I am diabetic and would not have been offended. I also would not order such a drink. The only people who should be upset are the Starbucks people, because the employee should not be pointing out the sugar content of their desserts that masquerade as coffees.

He said the diabetes statement hits close to home because his two sisters suffer from type 1 diabetes.
...
The message is obviously referring to type 2 diabetes. The guy should chill out.

An article I read earlier said that they are filling their serving positions with lesbos. Imposed mental illness is a natural outcome.

So, was the guy a tubbo heart attack waiting to happen? Article avoids mentioning that or I missed it.

I don't understand. If this guy has diabetes in the family, the last thing he should be doing is ordering things like "white chocolate mocha" drinks.
I'm so tired of this politically correct crap. When I order up eggs and bacon at a diner, people I'm with will sometimes joke "heart attack on a plate." That doesn't bother me. Even though my father and uncles have all had heart attacks. I laugh along with them and I am not offended in the least.
Maybe this guy ought to lay off the white chocolate mocha whatever-it-is. I like Starbucks coffee but only drink it black or with a shot of espresso (also black). Maybe Starbucks is doing him a favor.
