Bulls and Bears pundits on Fox all praised working mothers. One "conservative" female nitwit even said that stay-at-home mothers are unproductive and should get high paying jobs. Every single panelist favored working mothers. Fox News disdains and ignores social conservatives on working mothers, immigration, trashy TV shows, gay marriage and abortion.

(supposedly a conservative show)

When did it ever claim to be conservative?

It is both mothers AND FATHERS who choose childcare for their children.

I agree these discussions frequently discount people who make the decision to raise their own kids ... but they only almost always consider the mother alone is making these decisions.

Ben Stein is annoying. He constantly acts like a know it all and is frequently wrong.

Right before the housing bubble burst in 2008 he said that loans weren’t going to people that couldn’t afford them and there was zero problem.

If caring for your child is unproductive, why are you looking for “quality” daycare? I would think that it would be unimportant whether they produce quality care.

Usually enjoy Fox Business Block on the audio while doing chores, but lately all news seems more concerned with polls and animosity between candidates.

This morning I skipped the business block thinking I’m sick of all the media/news intellects ‘if’ this or that instead of talking what policy, tax, regulation works and what doesn’t.

And who supports the best choice and why Democrats always support the worst choice for the economy.

And then Fox frequently tries to pass Juan Williams’ political bias as being an economic expert.

That’s a business show so I don’t think their focus is on social values.

Before the gov’t got involved in childcare and practically made it illegal, mother’s that worked could have friends or family members watch their children for an affordable fee.

Gretchen Carlson made it on my permanent sh!t list when she said, and I quote, "We've got to get women off of this horrible Mommy-track they're on these days."

Kiss my stay-at-home ass you pompous witch. Even Phyllis Schlafly raised her six sons before going to law school! What we need to be doing is to encourage women to have their children earlier, while their bodies are stronger and more resilient. Then they can have a great career once the kids are old enough to have some autonomy. Solves the low birth rate problem, the deep anxiety and disappointment of women who wait too long, and the problems that arise from putting careers on hold mid-stream. Plus employers won't have to worry as much about retention, which could make finding a job easier once the time is right.

Not to mention, the kids won't be treated as an obstacle or afterthought!

My daughter is a stay home mom and is researching home-schooling now for our 5 year old grand-daughter in a Christian group.

My daughter works hard raising her 1 yr old and 5 year old. I was never fortunate enough to stay home and I applaud and support her desire to keep our grand-daughters out of public schools where they will be exposed to LGBT agend’s starting in 1st grade.
