You and your merry band of anti-Trump trolls are really pathetic. Enjoy spending your day posting anti-Trump drivel.

Are these turds accusing Trump of stealing money from Vets?

$6 million was pledged, but how much was actually received, and how much of the received funds were distributed?

Another hit piece

Groups did receive more then 100K, mostly in multiple checks.

Looks like they are distributing the money as it comes in.

Just because someone pledge 500K doesn’t mean they sent the check they next day, it could be that they are sending multiple checks over a few months. That is what it looks like to me

But bash away, if it makes you feel better about yourself

Older article:

“Donald Trump has vowed to donate the donations he receives tonight to the Trump Foundation to veterans groups. But a look at The Donald J. Trump Foundation’s history of giving shows that the organization has given a small percentage of its donations to veterans groups.

Since 2010, Trump has donated just $75,000 to veterans groups, according to the foundation’s 990 forms that donated $5 million during the same time.

In 2014, the year his foundation donated the most amount of money to vets groups, the foundation gave $10,000 to the Green Beret Foundation, $5,000 to K9s for Warriors and $5,000 for Special Operations Warrior Foundation. in 2013, the group donated $15,000 to The Independence Fund and in 2010, his foundation gave $25,000 to Fisher House. “

Oh brother... cj has given us praise by faint damnation. Donald’s a bit slow on doling it out... if this was the worst problem we ever had with Donald then we should be wondering why WE are being so slow to boost him.

Those were pledges. Trump can only send out money that he has from those pledges.

Instead of this article. Ask him.

But you see, that would be too easy.

Good catch... this wasn’t just a donation affair but a pledge affair.

“...Donald Trump wormed out of a Fox News debate because he was scared of moderator Megyn Kelly...”

Lost all credibility right there................

Either it is true or it isn’t, so what is troll like? Do you mean like posting and reposting something from the front page of the National Enquirer? Enquiring minds want to know?

Trump has donated and helped beterans for decades, including building the NYC Vietnam veteran memorial back in the 80’s. They will get the money as the PLEDGES are sent to the charity.

Meanwhile Cruz has not donated a dime to them and shows very little if any support for our military.

...Donald Trump wormed out of a Fox News debate because he was scared of moderator Megyn Kelly...

The only thing that might have "scared" Trump is that he'd treat Kelly as hostile and be labeled a big ol' meaney. Which he gets labeled anyway, so...

$6 million was pledged, but how much was actually received, and how much of the received funds were distributed?

The most logical question, which, of course, this article fails to ask or answer.

But hey, anything to bash Trump.

Based on the content of the article, the headline should be "Trump Skipped A Debate to Raise Money for Veterans? Veterans Still Haven't Received Most of the Money" The article states that 2.4 million of the 6 million has been given to vets. This would contradict the headline which states that they have not received their money.

"There is absolutely no accountability here for how Trump will spend this money," RedState's Leon Wolf wrote. "This is how hucksters like Trump operate. Rather than say that he’s going to raise money for a reputable vets organization – of which there are many – he diverts the money to his own sham tax shelter and hopes that his supporters never notice or demand an accounting for what was done with their money, as would be done for any 501 (c)(3) that was set up with the specific purpose for helping vets."

This paragraph implies that no one knows how the remainder has been spent. So maybe the headline should be "Trump Skipped A Debate to Raise Money for Veterans? Veterans Received Some of the Money; the Rest is Unaccounted For."

When the headline contradicts what is presented in the article itself, it is hard to view the writer as honest.

So Trump raising $2.4 million for vets makes him a “huckster”?

Cruz family made millions from sleazy Goldman Sachs. Gave basically nothing to charity. What does that make Cruz? A principled conservative? LOL.

Not directly, but that is the conclusion they hope the readers reach.
