The snakes discovered by the electricians (Facebook)

Two electricians had the fright of their lives recently when they went to repair an electricity box and found two snakes inside.

The shocking discovery was made by workmen in the town of Morganton, North Carolina, in the States.

The workmen took a photo which was posted on to the local council’s Facebook page on April 4 and has received almost 4,000 likes already.

Luckily for the workmen - if not the snakes - both reptiles were dead.

That’s nothing. You want shocking? Wait until a live 6 foot snake comes flying out of the toilet hitting his head in the middle of your forehead.

This hit my snake forums several days ago.

Apparently it’s quite common down south.

Also squirrels are found, too.

A dopey snake discovered the fan belt in my engine last supper. He did manage to break the belt, but was definitely the loser of the encounter.

I agree, but, to me, spiders are ickier.

There’s something about their eight scurrying little legs that creeps me out.

Too bad you could not staple the head to the tail and use the snake as a replacement belt?

That looks a lot like a fuse box I inspected last week, except there was just a dried-up snake skin inside (and a lot of wasp nests).
