No article, just video of an officer having a bad day & how a cool head and a dash cam can help an officer in need of compassion, turn his bad day into a good one!
I wonder if you can run multiple cams ? One pointing out DS and PS as well as front facing simultaneously ?
Overkill ?
I never click on a headline that contains “THIS.”
Yeah, it's simply common sense to show respect to cops, if you don't want them to cause even more trouble for you. However, when cops do stuff like this I not only have no respect for the individuals doing it, but it erodes what respect I have left for the whole profession.
THANKS for the recommendation
Except this link is to youtube which is a safe site.
Character is what you do when you think nobody is watching, not a performance you put on for the camera once you know it is there.
Exactly. The guy at the end says "Thank God for honest cops." I agree with that sentiment, but this wasn't an honest cop. It was an a***ole cop who knew he had been nailed and needed to backtrack before he got his a** handed to him.
well, DUH! happens to truckers all the time, just like when someone gets pulled over in a car and they are asked for certificate of insurance. The cop has no way to know ahead of time if there is or if there is not one in the car. If not, additional charges.

Trucker ran a Red light....
No, he didn't.
Anybody recognize the background music?
“The cop has no way to know ahead of time if there is or if there is not one in the car.”
Indeed, and under our Constitution, when the police have no cause to believe you have committed a crime, they are not allowed to harass you. They are not allowed to go on fishing expeditions in an attempt to drum up business.
Hey, the guy blew a yellow light that he had plenty of time to stop for. This is trucking training 101, see the yellow, prepare to stop, do not accelerate.
exactly, while not on camera, the officer took time to reflect and compose himself and then he went and admitted his wrong doing and apologized
I suppose you could go all the way around, that said, not much happens to the sides and rear.
You can just turn it to the side if you're stopped. Shrug.
I agree.
It is unbelievable how other drivers behave when I am driving my Corvette.
I purchased Shadow Recorder GT550WS 1080P Car Dash Camcorder (GT550WS) from Foxoffer.com for @ $124.98.
I plug it in when I drive and very rarely go back to the footage unless it is would be necessary.
I need to get one for my daily driver.

Weird, looked like a stock Jeep. Most Jeep death wobbles are from poorly installed lift kits or garage specials.
Don’t know about other states, but here in NC if you’re over halfway through the intersection when yellow turns red, you’re OK. If you’re not, you’ve run a red light.
I had a summer job that required me to drive a 4x4 Suburban that did this, it was very hard to control when the front end started that high frequency, vibrating wobble. It was stock as far as I knew, late 70’s model. I just attributed the problem to age, mileage and wear.
