One report says the octopus was in a "sushi dish."
If boyfriend was making sushi with the 2 year old "helping", knowing the nature of 2 yr olds, it would be hard to prove that the kid didn't down the octopus all by himself.
The bruises could have come from the attempts to pull it out as well as the CPR.

Giving the mansony boyfriend the benefit of a doubt, who tries to kill a kid with an octopus in the esophagus? He might just be a dummy who didn't know the kid had shoved some leftover take-out down his throat.
They let him make bail, so he may not have done anything criminal. Time will tell.

Octupi used to have noses. With evolution the octopus lost the nostrils and took on the more familiar look that we know today.

I have not ruled out the kid was not eating it and chocked on it. It does happen. Am shocked a kid would eat octopus but I guess if he was given it from a young age he would like it.
