quote-I dont know about sick but it does appear to be pandering. Might it also be sacrilegious? A person participating in a religious ceremony for a religion they dont believe in?
Ted could use it as an oppoturnity to preach the gospel.
the one Paul preached to the Corinthians in 1 Cor 15.
that Christ died for our sins ‘According to Scripture’ was buried and raised the 3rd day ‘According to Scripture’
According to Scripture, Christ died as the Lamb on PASSOVER, the 14th Day of the 1st month.
And was buried.
And then laid in the tomb all day on the first Day of UNLEAVENED BREAD, the 15th Day of the 1st month, the weekly and annual Sabbath day- (even in death the Lamb of God obeyed His Word)
and was raised the 3rd Day, which is the Feast of FIRST FRUITS, the 16th Day of the 1st month, the day the wave sheaf of the first of the harvest.
The gospel according to Scripture. (Leviticus 23 and other places)
The Apostle Paul said He was our PASSOVER Lamb(1 COR 5:7) and UNLEAVENED BREAD (1 COR 5:8) and called Him the FIRST FRUITS of those who have fallen asleep (1 Cor 15:20)
14th day- Passover, the 6th Day of 2nd week
15th day-Unleavened Bread, the 7th Day of 2nd week
16th day- First Fruits, the 1st day of the 3rd week
The gospel, according to Scripture.
Paul also warns about other Jesus’ and other gospels.
What the world calls ‘Jewish Feasts’ are not exclusive to Judaism. They are the Father’s Feasts that He taught His people. They pointed back to Moses and Israel but incredibly forward to His Son and His Kingdom.
And He can lead us to know His Son had major life events (birth to the giving of the Holy Spirit) on those Feast Days. Christianity and Judaism and Islam would be blessed to understand.
It is because the world accepts another version of the gospel from what Paul taught, that the world been blinded to Truth.
The kicker is Judaism and Islam accept another version too, in a way, but they can’t see it or how they apply it to their lives.
What a way to see the world! Eyes to see that only He provides
All for His Glory!
I agree with you except Ted did not do that.
