You want him to be prosecuted and thrown in jail because he broke a campaign promise? If we did that to everyone politician who did so, we would not have any politicians left.

What I was getting at is that he doesn’t deserve your support against a correct and just corruption charge.
However, now that you suggest it, I would not at all oppose fraud charges against politicians who promise one thing and do another in office. The only downsides there are finding enough jail space and the logistical issues in having to replace 99.99% of politicians at the same time.
