Hatch: Ryan could be drafted at convention

Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said there's "potential" for House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) to be drafted as a presidential nominee at a Republican convention because he is the one person who could unify the party.

"I think it's just natural that that speculation would happen because he's one of the great leaders here on Capitol Hill and one of the people who brings both sides, all sides together, I should say," Hatch told reporters Thursday.

Remember when Mark Levin endorsed this two-faced Mormon scumbag? I remember when my college roomate called him up to argue with him over it...and Mark HUNG UP on him. Nice job, Mark.

Does that mean Ryan will serve in the military and actually act like a man instead of a weasel politician?

That is the only thing he should be drafted for.

Chicken Hatch is just quoting his heroine, Jennifer Rubin, one of the so-called token conservatives for the Washington ComPost.

Orin had his moments, but he’s a member of the club.
Bounced from supporting Justice Thomas to paling around with Ted Kennedy.

Convention Nomination Rules... what rules... we don’t need no stinkin’ rules.

We’re really no better than the Dems. We can just make stuff up whenever we want.

Hey... what transparency?

Before we all dump on Orrin, was he trying to talk up the idea, or just answering a question? If the latter, fine. Of course he is correct. The convention could draft anyone a majority of delegates chose.

Paul Ryan, of course, has too much baggage at the moment to be our best bet. However, I am available. Freepmail me if you're a delegate and want to start a Draft Sphinx movement.

But I'll tell you now, if Laz gets into it, I'm out. No flame wars for me. Come to think of it, I'll sign onto the Draft Laz movement right now, if he'll offer me one of those six figure no-show jobs in return.

Ouderkirk tto Hatch:

You draft/force that POS Ryan on us...and we will destroy the GOP and you. The gloves will come off and the weapons will come out. The time for armed insurrection will have arrived.

The choice is up to you Senator...If you want a hot civil war, go down this road Senator, and I can guarantee you’ll have one.

Your choices Senator are Trump or Cruz. They are who the voters want. Between Trump AND Cruz they have over 1300 delegates with 880 to go. These two are the choice, not Ryan or anyone else.

Looks like the establishment wants to nominate a guy who lost a national election.

Paul Ryan is a proven loser, isn’t he? He lost the 2012 election along with Mitt Romney.

I ain’t voting for a proven loser.

GOPe is in bed with the Democrats for a Hillary presidency.

The GOPe has, over the years, carved out a very comfortable niche for itself as the JV team of the Uniparty.

People in UT will fall for whatever Orrin says.

Not all of us. Some of us are working to do to him what we did to Bob Bennett a few years back. Unfortunately, the state's party leadership is full of nanny-staters who love the perks Hatch's deals bring back home. They're willing to look the other way on some things for $$$$$ on others.

You’ve just communicated the essence of the #losewithcruz strategy. The establishment would rather lose the general than lose their power and standing within the party appartus.

What do you suppose Cartel Cruz was offered in exchange for playing the role of “mule” for the Establishment, in order to bring this very event, to which this article alludes, about?

Dying to know what a TROJAN HORSE is worth today.

Here’s the video from Tuesday night;

At about 1:35 Reince talks about Ford and Mondale going in short and winning on the first ballot.

So let me get this straight, GOPe.......

You want to deny one of two candidates that ran for the party nomination and received the most significant number of delegates, and DRAFT the guy that says he has no interest in running for President?
