So I asked Bitey the Dog about her views on NATO, and she responded by growling and attacking my sock. In doing so, she offered a more comprehensive, insightful, and sane commentary on this vital alliance than the putative Republican frontrunner.
Yes, its been a bad couple weeks for Donald Trump. Lets review:
· His skeevy attacks on Ted Cruzs wife confirmed his status, in the eyes of women, as Americas nightmare first husband.
· His transparent plant of the bizarre Ted Cruz, Sex God story in his pals pseudo-paper offended anyone who doesnt require a drool bib.
· He repudiated his pledge to support the eventual nominee hard to believe Donald Trumps word is literally not worth the paper its printed on and managed to both alienate even more Republicans while simultaneously putting at risk some of his own delegates.
· His campaign manager got charged with battering a woman, the same women whose Bic pen the noted Vietnam War non-veteran subsequently claimed placed him in mortal danger.
· He was ordered to report to Principal Priebuss office for some pathetic groveling before the establishment he pretends hes broken.
· He was unable to decide whether women who have an abortion should be tossed in a dungeon or given a medal.
· Polls are predicting his impending humiliation in Wisconsin.
And, to compound his hilarious and well-deserved agony, people are starting to review the general election polls the real polls, not the online polls that unemployable geebos in red hats live to vote in and they are seeing that it might be an uphill climb to win an election when about 60% of voters actively despise you. And thats just among Republicans.
But a bad week for Trump is a good week for America. This clown isnt done yet, but his sell-by date as Republican is fast approaching and I couldnt be happier.
Now we just have to convince him to run third party, which is barely a threat because many of his dwindling supporters were probably never going to vote GOP anyway. Plus, he may weaken Hillary more by drawing in a bunch of alienated Bernie dorks, since the Democrats whose party establishment is actually competent are gonna shaft them like Richard Roundtree.
Plus, half of what Trump babbles could come out of Sanderss mouth anyway. The governments main purposes is healthcare, housing, and education? Not the American governments main purpose, you creepy talking troll doll.
Yeah, let Trump run as a third party candidate, except he wont because that will simply compound the yuge rejection thats coming. Moreover, he doesnt really even want to be president my contacts have been telling me for months that Trump never expected this and has tried to find a way to get out without looking like a wuss, including considering a fake cancer scare. And there is no chance the famously cheap Trump would ever spend the money he needs to run a general election campaign. The GOP donors would abandon him in favor of saving down ballot candidates from being pulled down the Donald Drain too. You cant fight Hillary by calling into Morning Joe every day.
Nor is it clear he even could run as third party candidate. This super smart savvy business genius forgot about all those arcane third party ballot rules, meaning he could only run in a fraction of the states. Man, Id hate to be the Trump minion who has to tell Stubby Digits about that whole Electoral College thing.
Trump has surrounded himself with the best people the best at screwing up. When they arent getting busted for picking on girls they are managing to lose delegates in places like Louisiana to Ted Cruz. Turns out actually doing the hard work of learning about the nominating rules and creating an infrastructure to take advantage of them gets you better results than improvising a campaign out of Hannity appearances and rambling rally speeches.
Lyin Ted? Try Winnin Ted. You know, the one tying or beating the Wicked Witch of Arkansas as opposed to being crushed by her by double digits. That Ted.
Now, I am a Cruz supporter, and I saw him live in Beverly Hills last week at a fundraiser yeah, Trumpoids, Ted has to raise money because his daddy didnt give him millions of dollars. Ive seen Cruz several times in the last couple years and he is much, much improved. He focuses on three key themes with appeal across party lines jobs, civil rights (like religious liberty and the Second Amendment) as well as national security. People want to paint him as crazy, but I litigate in the California courts and know crazy when I see it Ted does not come across as crazy. He also gets hit for being preachy I did not see that either. And I must have missed the raw sexual firepower that Trumps slack-jawed battalions attribute to him.
I want to see the Ted Cruz I saw in person (and who comes out in long-form interviews) when hes at a podium or on stage. That Ted Cruz is great. He was clear, sensible, sane, and dare I say it Reaganesque. The Ted Cruz I saw could beat that shrill, bitter incompetent crook the Dems are in the process of anointing.
Now, the path is hard, and the map daunting, but the polling against the Hilldebeast is solid and establishment is coming around. Cruz has the best team in the business nobody ever really expected it to be down to a two-man race right now except Team Ted. I think hes going to win the nomination, Karl Roves insane idea about a White Knight squish parachuting in notwithstanding, and in the general, a good portion of the remaining Trump fans will come home. Most of Trumps supporters are decent Americans infuriated by an establishment that ignored, lied to, and abused them. If they want to cause the GOPe some real pain, Teds the guy, and many of them will see that.
But what of Trump? Hell go back to his tacky tower muttering about how Ted Cruz unfairly beat him with a combination of using the rules and not being an idiot. Good riddance, future footnote.
By the way, Ill offer any mainstream media reporter a shiny quarter to ask The Donald what NATO stands for.
Pro- or anti-Trump, I think none of us needs to be taking political advice from a man that names his dog Bitey.
Don’t knock Miss Cleo!
In their heyday she was making the owners around $20,000,000 per month.
$5 per minute.
Yeah, you're right...we should never nominate anybody who's not a billionaire. That Ronald Reagan...he never ran a business...gee whiz, what a lousy president he was. /s
That may well be the case. But I was responding to what you said in plain English. It was not indicated that you were being sarcastic, if you were.
You cannot possibly be so dense or forgetful. Reagan was Governor of California. Do you have any idea what that entails? ... Starting to remember?
I’ll take point #8 from your Ted Cruz Bio: 2008-2012 - Attorney with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Houston, Texas.
Cruz is a partner at a high-powered law firm with a history of contributing 100s of thousands of dollars to Democrats such as the Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Democratic National Congressional Committees campaigns.
Ted Cruz was hired as a partner Morgan Lewis & Bockius in 2008, during the presidential election in which Barack Obama became president. Morgan Lewis & Bockius made contributions totaling over $200,000 in support of Obamas campaigns for President, as well as $750,000 to Democrats since Cruz became a partner.

Ted Cruz essentially donated substantially to Obama & Democrats!!!!!
No, of course you wouldn't. You probably think the same nasty things about Walker as you do about Cruz.
You don't have any rational reason to oppose Cruz. You just like The Trumpster so much, everybody else is evil...am I not correct?
Nice try.
They can get a free (nearly) pregnancy test at the dollar store.
Why would they distrust one center over the other.
They can give a fake name, lots of them do.
That dog don’t hunt.
LOL ... you are being true to your chosen screen name.
Seems to me this site is becoming infested with anti-Trump trolls of late.
Not to worry. If they get too awful Jim will ZOT them.;-)
Let’s hope this effort to divide the opposition to the DNC socialism is happening so early that by November we will all realize how deadly would be allowing a democrat to take power.
Why does most every trump supporter have to be hateful? Just like trump everything has to be a slam at a another candidate and their supporters. There are some who will debate his ideas, but the majority don’t want to debate. They’re like the one left who name calls but won’t debate serious issues.
Nice try? What, you think I’m lying? That’s right, everybody but trump and his fans lie. His rash hateful words have rubbed off of many trump voters.
Many who use to put the constitution, God, and family above everything. It’s to a point where many many supporters of other candidates will not vote for trump.
The crisis pregnancy centers are constantly booked, and many girls are abortion prone. Why people come to us I don’t know. Intervention by God? We’re located in areas they live? But they come. If they thought the right wants them punished, you can bet they might think twice and go directly to pp. Many come to us because they know they will be talked into an abortion quickly at pp and our advertisements say we care, we’ll listen and help them. Many of these women are being pressured by a boyfriend, parent, friend,....trump saying they should be punished only turns them away from us.
You have completely misunderstood Mr. Trump.
People who break the law should be punished.
He believes in law. Not some fantasy world where there is no law and everyone must fend for themselves.
Do not be so obtuse about the question.
Does the President ever have to interact with the Legislative branch? Does Trump have any experience with that? He doesn’t get to use intimidation tactics like you can with people you can fire.
He doesnt get to use intimidation tactics like you can with people you can fire.......Really? Behind the Bully Pulpit: The Reagan Administration and Congress http://www.jstor.org/stable/27551633?seq=1#page_scan_tab_contents
What exactly am I lying about? Look back at my old post. My husband worked at stratcom j6 j8. He worked on future capabilities (planning wars 5 years out, every scenario). Check recent leak about North Korea having nukes that can now reach US. They couldn’t do that before.
I also talked about my time counseling at the CPC.
I’m starting to think Hillary has bloggers going to conservative sites posing as trump supporters trying to make people hate trump. Well done!
LOL, hysteria is not your friend.
Reagan didn’t have the negative opinion poll numbers Trump has. Those who didn’t agree with Reagan still tended to “like” him, and we’re open to persuasion. And Reagan was not persona non grata with the party he claims to represent. He could count on some support within Congress, even when the majority was not on board. Trump has none of that going for him.
But other than those differences, you have a point...
