It is interesting that the link notes passive aggression. That was my general impression of “Minnesota nice” after years of observation.
If you didn’t at least go to junior high in Minnesota, you are a nobody. If you are a native, but leave for at least a year, you are a traitor, thus nobody. If you are from the South, you are stupid. Even worse, if you are from Texas, you are a retard (extreme Bush Derangement Syndrome).
I learned this after living there for 10 years.
