If you didn’t at least go to junior high in Minnesota, you are a nobody. If you are a native, but leave for at least a year, you are a traitor, thus nobody. If you are from the South, you are stupid. Even worse, if you are from Texas, you are a retard (extreme Bush Derangement Syndrome).

I was born and raised in Minnesota and went out of state for college and never went back to live. It took my sister about 20 years after I graduated college to stop asking “so when are you moving back home?” She (and many others) wonder why would anyone not want to live in Minnesota.
(Disclaimer - I would love to live back there again. Well, except maybe during the 90+ days in the summer and the below zero days in winter! I’m getting old!)
Now I’m near Seattle. Seattle Nice is also known as Seattle Ice. (They’ll smile, but that’s about it.)
