It is interesting that the link notes passive aggression. That was my general impression of “Minnesota nice” after years of observation.

I heard there were some liberals here in northern Michigan somewhere but they keep eluding me.

I went to church camp in Wisconsin once.
It was nice.

If you didn’t at least go to junior high in Minnesota, you are a nobody. If you are a native, but leave for at least a year, you are a traitor, thus nobody. If you are from the South, you are stupid. Even worse, if you are from Texas, you are a retard (extreme Bush Derangement Syndrome).
I learned this after living there for 10 years.

I was born and raised in Minnesota and went out of state for college and never went back to live. It took my sister about 20 years after I graduated college to stop asking “so when are you moving back home?” She (and many others) wonder why would anyone not want to live in Minnesota.
(Disclaimer - I would love to live back there again. Well, except maybe during the 90+ days in the summer and the below zero days in winter! I’m getting old!)
Now I’m near Seattle. Seattle Nice is also known as Seattle Ice. (They’ll smile, but that’s about it.)

Thanks for sharing, MarMema, that is hilarious! And, yeah, the only thing Michiganders dislike more that Wisconsin (do they even count as a state?) is Ohio!!
For people of Ohio, we are just kidding, we love you guys. If not for the buckeye state (what is a buckeye, anyway?) we'd never be able to get to Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, or Florida. See, you DO serve a purpose, even if you all voted for John Kasich.

We left the Seattle area with bells on and came to a stunning beautiful place with northern lights, great food, down home folk and neighbors who still look out for each other naturally. Super low cost of living, everyone carries,
Incredibly beautiful wildlife, and a spring that will make you think you died and went to heaven. We learned about life with the sun in it again and how much better powder is than constant rain.

MSM doing its best to get the “nice people of Wisconsin” to help Cruz stop trump so we can end up with someone who hasn’t announced yet as “our” candidate. Scott Walker went from candidate to useful tool.

In general Wisconsinites are "nice". But it is also the home of progressivism, and the republican party and McCarthy. In other words, they're all over the board.
Just like Minnesota. Who gave us Michelle Bachmann, al Franken, and Keith Ellison.
I don't think Trump will win in Wisconsin. If he does, it should be considered an upset.
