Most of Nevada does not have feral hogs. There is a rumor that they have been spotted in one area that is not what I would consider hog country. We are doing an aerial survey of the area this weekend. If we see any they will be exterminated with extreme prejudice. Full auto baby!
North Dakota, Montana, AFAIK, Minnesota and South Dakota, too, remain free of these critters. Folks here would put them in the smoker fast.
to me, wild pig taste better than deer. i have eaten many of each. of course the pig has to be a sow or a boar that is captured and castrated.
I do have a soft spot for anything moon god worshippers hate, but I like bacon too :-)
