Has anyone else noticed that the little Google street view man has a new look this week? What's the deal with that? He appears to have long dark hair and a purple leisure suit.
(Yes, I'm logged in and yes, I've turned it off and on again, lol.)
What the freak is the little Google street view man?
I think they turned him into a lumber, hipster sexual.
Glad you asked that, I thought it was just me.
A tribute to “Leisure Suit Larry”?
Well I googled and found an answer...he’s in Funkytown.

Some sort of April Fool?
Not checking it out because you might be punking me for April Fools...
I’m not, it’s for real. Noticed it yesterday.
Lawd a mercy!!!
(that’s the old “pegman” there, though.)
Found it
“Deep within the code of Maps, Google developers listed Youre moving too fast for Funky Town. Well, call it an early April Fools Day gag, or possibly with its release preceding April 1st, Google is just having a little fun with the desktop version of Maps. The Funky Town Pegman is outfitted with a full head of glorious hair, beard, and a stylish 1970s large collared suit.”

I noticed it yesterday. Thought they were going for the muzzie look, beard and all. It is Google.

You drag him onto the Google map and then look at the photos up and down the street that you dragged him to.
His real name is “pegman”.
Back to internet school with ya!
I had the same first impression, I thought he had on a turban. Realistic expectation from Google.
see # 14
Was he about 80 and wearing a cowboy hat...could be my dad.
Makes suicide bombers feel more at home when they’re looking for new soft targets.
They normally have it where if you hover over Hawaii they will show him on a surfboard.
