The media and the GOPe are loving the division between the two non-establishment candidates, Trump and Cruz.
They are playing the rabid supporters on both sides like a fiddle, and those supporters are apparently more than happy to be played.

First of all, I wouldn’t trust Ted not to run over Trump. Secondly even if he was joking, about time his words came back on him. They come back on Trump every single day.
Maybe Secret Service should look into this.

Don’t bother. Trump’s followers are convinced this is a vile threat and not what it was - a dumb joke from a guy who isn’t nearly as funny as he thinks. Meanwhile their guy calls for violence against those who oppose him and lies for a campaign manager caught on video committing a violent crime.
I would suggest all you Trump supporters who felt this was a threat, to call the Burbank Police Department and press charges.
Lindsey Graham made two jokes about killing Ted Cruz, and Ted uses them in his stump speech and at AIPAC.
Politicians and their supporters need to have a little thicker skin.

All of the people who have lived and worked with Ted Cruz since his college days universally love him and think he is one of the nicest person in the world. All the Senators love him and want to follow him to implement true conservative policies. That is why Ted Cruz is having huge rallies and has been leading in all the polls since he announced his campaign for President.
Such a person could not possibly mean that he wants to kill a political opponent whom he is beating so badly in the polls.
Cruz is inciting violence. Remember under Cruz’s own rule, no jokes are permitted
